Can I fit my own fitted wardrobes?

Can I fit my own fitted wardrobes?

When embarking on your next bedroom project, one of the first questions that may arise is 'can I fit my own fitted wardrobes?'. The simple answer is yes you can, as long as you have a good level of DIY skills, and an extra pair of hands - it's not a one man job, for sure.

It is going to require more skills than putting together your average flat pack unit from a large warehouse retailer. To finish it well, you are going to need to do some accurate cutting and fitting, especially around the plinths, end panels and pelmets.

We have a huge range of wardrobes and associated bedroom furniture available. All our wardrobes come with a number of different internal layouts available. Click here to see the full guide of different wardrobes available

Other Fitted Bedroom Furniture

Of course, a fitted bedroom would not be complete if it only had a wardrobe. You can have a wardrobe on it's own, but it really has the wow effect when combined with other kitchen furniture.

You can get everything from bedside tables, chest of drawers, tallboy drawers, desks and dressers to match. You can see the full guide of different types of fitted bedroom furniture available

These units can be put next to the fitted wardrobes, to give a fully fitted bedroom effect or, with matching cladding on the side of units, can sit as independent furniture by themselves. The choice is yours, and of course, you can mix and match if it suits your room better.

Types of Fitted Bedroom Furniture

The cabinets for bedroom furniture are concealed behind doors, drawers and clad-on panels, so we normally refer to the style of bedroom by the door style. We've categorised the types below, but browse into our full range of bedroom furniture for the full list of options.
